“Louisiana has always been blessed by an abundance of natural resources, and we have had our share of natural disasters.
And normally we are praying to protect us from hurricanes, but today, I am calling on a day of prayer.
Asking the Lord to send us a little rain—to bring our farmers, our ranchers, and those in the timber industry some relief.
So please, think about them, and lift up your prayers for a little rain.”
